Account Types and Role Permissions

Account types define user identities, while roles define user permissions.

For example:

• After registering as a Distributor Account or Installer Account, users can create users within the organization and assign them the roles of Common Manager, Operations Engineer, or Owner.

• After registering as an Owner Account, users access the system directly as owners without additional role assignment.

NOTE Info

• Owner Account and Owner Role are not the same concept.

• An Owner Account is the account type selected during registration.

• An Owner Role is one of the roles assigned to users within an enterprise account.

• The actual functions and operation permissions available to users are subject to system configuration.
