Site Creation Methods

MatriCloud WEB provides different site creation methods based on project types and device integration approaches.

Standard Site Creation Method

Applicable to the following scenarios:

• Residential PV

• Residential Energy Storage

• Distributed PV

• Utility-Scale PV

• C&I Enger Storage PCS

• Ground-Mounted Energy Storage PCS

This method directly connects devices to the platform for data acquisition and management.

For C&I Energy Storage PCS and Utility Energy Storage PCS, site creation is supported only through a gateway. The platform obtains PCS information directly from the gateway rather than from the PCS itself.

Energy Storage System Site Creation Method

Applicable to the following scenarios:

• Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage

• Utility-Scale Energy Storage

This method uses a Local Controller (LC) to centrally connect and manage devices within the energy storage system, including PCS, BMS, meters, PV inverters, and other related equipment, enabling site-wide data acquisition and monitoring.

After completing site creation, you can use the platform to centrally manage sites, devices, and operational data. For detailed operation instructions, please refer to the subsequent chapters.
